How To Attract A New Car – Subconscious Mind Creates Reality

How To Attract A New CarI discovered how to attract a new car when I accepted an offer to attend an event. This is a personal experience of mine that took place many years ago. It was the early 1980’s when our local and national economy was at an extreme low. My wife and I had been married for 6 years. We both grew up in the same small town and had relocated to a much larger city where we were raising our two young ones. It was financially tough times; the city didn’t offer up many good paying jobs, we were really struggling.

A family member living in the same city invited us to come listen to a speaker at one of their weekly meetings. We attended a meeting and it was for me a kind of confirmation to a sense I always had about being something more than just a bunch of blood and bone trying to make it through life. Here is where I first started to learn about how the subconscious mind creates reality and the power we each have to “create” our life.

This was the beginning of my understanding as to the importance of what I now call “personal inputs”. Specifically; the thoughts we think, the words we speak, the feelings we allow and the beliefs we embrace. These are the critical inputs for the manifestation/creation of the results and events that make up our life. What this means is – we create our life by what inputs we allow to register in our subconscious mind. It’s most important to note, if we don’t control those inputs something or someone else will and our life ends up not being our life.

Let’s Get To The New Car

It was 1984, my dream car at the time was a Toyota Celica GT and it had to be red. Armed with a basic understanding of how the subconscious mind creates according to our inputs I began my attraction process. For the thought input I would visualize the exact body style, model and color of my dream Celica. For the word input I spoke affirmations to myself about already owning this car. For the feeling input I would imagine the complete act of being in the vehicle, opening the door, sliding in the driver’s seat, the touch of the steering wheel, the new car smell, the sound of the revving engine. For the belief input I simply believed I deserved and already owned this car.

I repeated these inputs on a daily basis, spending quiet time impressing my subconscious mind with the thoughts, words, feelings and beliefs about my car. I would use my imagination to have a full experience of owning and driving it. You see the subconscious mind does not know the difference between the inputs from your imagination and the inputs of real time events. When you allow your imagination to be so vivid that it seems real to you, your subconscious mind will take it as being real too. And the job of our subconscious mind is to create in our reality according to the inputs it is registering from our conscious mind.

The Events That Followed

Now keep in mind times are tough, money is tight, so how in the heck can I buy a new car. Well here’s another lesson I learned when it comes to dealing with the subconscious and creating the results of our life. The How does not enter into the picture, that is up to the subconscious to sort out and deliver on. What is important is to begin with the end in mind. So in this case it meant I needed to stay focused on possessing this new car and not give any thought to how I would get it. So that is exactly what I did.

One day I was in a café for lunch and as I was leaving I bumped into a former employer of mine. He was visiting my city for a family function and having lunch before the trip back to his home city. We chatted about the “good ole days” and got into how things were going now. I mentioned I was having a rough patch at which he informed me his company was expanding their business in a neighboring city and he was actively seeking a new territory manager, a similar job as the one I held with him before. Long story short he offered me the position and I accepted.

Whoomp There It Is

The new job required relocating to a new city, which turned out to be good in many ways including being somewhat closer to the town we grew up in and our extended family. I was getting back to working with a good company with good pay, my wife found a good paying job she enjoyed and our little family was looking good.

The first day at a new job always brings with it some emotions; excitement, fear, joy and anticipation. As a territory manager a big part of my job was traveling the area and visiting the customers our company supplied product to. So obviously it would be necessary to have a reliable mode of transportation for that purpose which the company provided as part of my job benefits.

I can still remember that feeling of excitement that rushed over me when I pulled into the company parking lot that very first day on the new job. I couldn’t help notice this fantastic looking Toyota Celica parked there and I chuckled to myself about seeing my dream car there and wouldn’t it be crazy if that was my company vehicle. Not likely though, I thought, as the company had always provided a pick up truck to the territory managers.

I went in to the office to meet the staff and have a day of orientation. The end of the day comes, we’re all getting ready to head home and the business manager says “oh’ ya don’t forget to take your vehicle” and tossed me the keys. Well it blew my mind, the company had a recent policy change on vehicles and opted for a more efficient approach which ended up in my case to be a 1984 red Toyota Celica GT.

Our Subconscious Mind Is Always Attracting Something

Whether it’s our own conscious inputs or inputs for an outside source our subconscious mind is always on the job creating our reality according to the inputs it is receiving. Be in control of thosehow to master the law of attraction inputs and you can safely predict what your future is going to be like.

My personal discover of the power of our subconscious mind has never left me and now inspires me to continue growing my You Can Master Anything website in hopes that people will find it and discover the means to acquire great input tools to benefit their life.

  4. I enjoyed reading your story Myles. I believe fully that we are vibrational beings and via our sub conscious minds we are continually creating our lives, either deliberately or without knowing.

The true power of this is only realized when we are cognizant of the fact that we can do this at will.  It does take practice and is easier for some than others, basically because nobody has your subconscious.  You and your are the only one who can master your sub conscience by doing whatever you need to do make it work.

I have gone though period where I have been better at this than others. It takes daily practice about creating event he smaller things like getting a parking space, green light when driving and so on. I have come to regard it as a fascinating game now  and the more I play the sharper I become.

    Thanks for sharing this.

  5. In Think & Grow Rich the main concept running through the whole book is:1) Know exactly what you want2) Stand by the desire until your realize itYou certainly did that. What is really amazing about this concept is that you never quite know which direction what you want is coming from. The important thing is that you don’t put restrictions around what you want. For example, you didn’t say that you wanted to buy the car (a restriction), you just said you wanted one.It doesn’t really matter how you get it, that you get it is enough.Great story and keep on putting that mind to work…

I’m off to decide what I want next!
