  1. A really good friend of mine has been using self-hypnosis for the last three years and he now swears by it’s effects…although he did struggle to begin with. It’s that struggle that kinda puts me off – I feel that the self-discipline for this thing to work is lost within me.

  2. That’s amazing!  I’ve never heard of self hypnosis before.  I’m very intrigued to learn more about  the process.  I wanted to ask you, do you think this would be affecting for people struggling with social media addiction? 

    I often find myself spending WAY too much time on Social Media.  The worst part is I’m not really even looking for anything specific, it’s just general browsing.  I feel like my mind is addicted to wondering.  Like It’s constantly in search of the newest stimulating thing it can find.  Do you think this self hypnosis process would be helpful for someone with my issue?

I actually think I sort of used self hypnosis 9 years ago when I quit smoking.  For 90 days I told myself and everyone around me that I was going to quit in 90 days.  I did this several times a day every day for 90 days.  On day 91 I had my last smoke an here we are 9 years later and I am still a non smoker.I think this was  a great article and I thank you for taking the time to provide us all the information.Dale

    I have long been a believer in positive self-talk and the power of the subconscious mind – so many people do not understand how very important it is to be careful what thoughts you allow yourself, as your subconscious always take things literally, and works towards achieving whatever you think.

    Hypnosis is obviously another way of giving the subconscious the correct message that will help to achieve what you want, so obviously self-hypnosis is surely worth trying too. And all this definitely adds to your self confidence.

  8. Hello Myles; Great Article. I never observed the word hypnosis before, now that you have brought it to light I liked it. Many of us are behind because we have no self-confidence. Lack of confidence prevents one from trying. 

    We can be who we are supposed to be after we punch dawn self-intimidation and grab hold of self-confidence then we can begin a life to success; We will come to enjoy the benefits of self- hypnosis only then.

  9. I completely agree with everything you stated about hypnosis. I have first hand knowledge that it works. I tried everything to stop smoking and 27 years ago I went to be hypnotized to stop smoking. I have not smoked since, that was the best decision I ever made. I had heard of self hypnosis but had not really looked into it. I’ll be looking in to your Bootcamp series as there is always something in your life that can be improved upon.
